I want to introduce you to another of our favorite photographers, Cheryl Weaver. Not just because she has such nice things to say about me;) but because of her incredible skills. Visit her blog to read about Project Hiatus, which includes a recent assignment from us. Here’s a sneak peek:

Go-To Resources

This is a list of our go-to resources — magazines we enjoy reading, other designers whose work inspires us, and places we like to shop.
Anthropologie: – With their vintage-inspired house wares and accessories, shopping at Anthropologie is like browsing a French flea market. We love their DIY: Hardware section, which allows you to customize your cabinets, dressers and drawers in their interactive hardware store.
Architectural Digest: – Architectural Digest provides a monthly critique and analysis of trends and fashions in interior design. The magazine is not stuffy as some might assume; Michael Jackson at Neverland was their November cover story.
At Home in Arkansas: – Covering home building, interior design, shopping, architecture, recipes, art, entertaining and culture, At Home in Arkansas is a magazine we look forward to every month. And we’re crazy about Nancy Nolan, their primary photographer. (She’s on our list twice!)
Candice Olson: – We love Candice Olson’s Divine Design. Beth met her once and got her autograph. Not only is she a fabulous designer, she is also a nice person.
Fabulous Finds: (501) 614-8181 – You can find more of our merchandise at this antique mall on Cantrell in Little Rock.
Kimberly Brackins Creative Portraiture: – Kimber is Beth’s good friend and neighbor and a creative force behind the camera. From newborns to seniors to brides, Kimber captures the raw emotion and beauty of the moment.
Linda Alexander: – We all know her as “Aunt Linda,” but she really is Beth’s aunt. Her primary medium is porcelain, which she paints exquisitely. We’re fortunate to have a few of her Santa paintings in the store right now.
Nancy Nolan Photography: – Did we mention how much we love Nancy? Beth got to meet her “rock star” when Nancy photographed her and the store for a feature in At Home in Arkansas earlier this year.
The Shade Above: – Owner Robin Morris is a longtime friend (college suitemate, to be exact) of Beth’s. Robin and Beth both worked for interior designer Keith James of Dauphine in Little Rock. Robin later took over the business, creating custom-made silk lampshades accentuated with detailed handwork of intricate smocking styles. We carry many of the styles in the store.
Traditional Home: – Classic taste, modern life. Beth could not have described herself any better.
