Nesting Instincts” are no longer limited to those who are “with child” these days, as designers and artists alike seek to incorporate our feathered friends into their latest projects and collections.

As the editors of shelter magazine Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles recently quipped, “Has anyone else noticed that birds are flocking to home furnishings in record numbers? Not that they haven’t been around for years, but this season the trend really seems to be taking flight.”
