Jill Fenichell started Bongenre.com because she wanted beautiful plateware that would fit in with her lifestyle. With a busy family life in Brooklyn, New York, Jill needed something that was durable, but unique.
“I get to think about patterns I love, and work out interesting color relationships and rhythms between shape and pattern and color,” says Jill. “The real question is: how to connect the old to the new and to start people looking at old things, but in new ways. That’s what I want to do with my tableware.”
